My early years were spent in Canoga Park, CA. In fact, I met my husband in preschool (or so our parents claim). We moved out here to beautiful Thousand Oaks in 1982. My inspiration for becoming a teacher came from Mrs. Somerton, my fourth grade teacher at University Elementary. Learning was exciting, and I was truly motivated for the first time in my young life. I spend all of my free time with my three boys (Mr. Haver included). We love hiking and going to the beach with our dog, Gracie. Big news: I just became a grandma (G.G.) to Codi Ciara Haver on January 13! This school year is my 24th in the district and my sixth at Sequoia. I look forward to a fantastic year of learning together!
